Tour de Hongrie route changes

The route of the 2025 Tour de Hongrie, stages one, four and five, will undergo minimal changes for safety reasons.

Stage 1:

  • The slow start in Budapest will run clockwise.

Stage 4:

  • In Székesfehérvár, the route inside the city has changed (Mészáros Lázár utca – Havranek József utca – Móri út – Dózsa György út – Mátyás király krt. – Palotai út – Budai út).
  • The city circuit became shorter (it's currently 3,2 km).
  • The length of the stage after the changes: 153,6 km.
  • Due to the shorter race distance, the slow start time will be changed to 12:15 and the itinerary will be changed accordingly.

Stage 5:

  • The first intermediate sprint has been moved from Biatorbágy to Zsámbék.
  • The final circuit in Esztergom became 1,2 km longer. 
  • The official stage distance is 169,5 km,with 1960 m of elevation gain.

The total distance of the race after the modifications is 875 km, with a total elevation gain of 7255 m.
